Voopoo ARGUS AIR POD kit is a compact sub-mod that runs on a built-in battery of medium capacity, running the GENE.AI chip and designed to use PnP series vaporizers. The design of the new device is very ergonomic and small in size. Thanks to GENE.AI chipset, the vaper will be able to use the device in varivatt mode. Depending on the vaper’s preferences, it is possible to install cartridges with both replaceable and built-in vaporizers. There is a simple adjustment of blowing, realized by installing the cartridge with certain side. ARGUS Air Device Battery Pack
For vapers who follow Voopoo releases, it will be a bit unclear why a brand new ARGUS AIR POD kit device was released, if Drag S and Drag X were released literally a month and a half ago. But the reason is quite simple and trivial, the company has clearly decided to tightly conquer the market for devices of this format and, most interestingly, they successfully succeeded.
The form factor, in which ARGUS AIR POD kit is made, is rather banal and has the size of 31.4×95.3×19.3 mm, but this does not make it a failure, because the ergonomics in this case is at the highest level. It is worth paying tribute to the company’s designers, who offer seven design options for the device, and you can choose both strict black and original snow camouflage.
The maximum power Voopoo ARGUS AIR POD kit 25 watts, and it is provided by a built-in battery capacity of 900 mAh, which for such a compact device and a relatively small capacity is not a bad indicator. The battery is charged using the USB Type-C connector located on the bottom end of the device, with a current of 2A.
The traditional chipset for Voopoo devices of such format is GENE.AI, providing the possibility to use the device in Varivatt mode and the function of automatic determination of the optimum power depending on the vaporizer resistance. The board is designed to work with vaporizers with resistance from 0,6 Ohm.
Power adjustment is made with the button Fire in a circle upwards. You can activate the device by puffing or by pressing the Fire button. For your convenience, the device is equipped with a small monochrome display, where you can find the minimum set of information about the device.
ARGUS AIR POD cartridge
Voopoo decided to equip the Voopoo ARGUS AIR POD kit with two types of cartridges at once with a built-in vaporizer and with replaceable ones. This solution is not new as it was already used by Smok. Both cartridges are held in the battery pack by strong magnets.
One of the Standard cartridges is designed to use PnP series vaporizers, the range of which allows you to choose the best solution depending on vaper preferences, and you can also use a serviced base. When choosing a vaporizer, it is important to remember that the maximum power of Voopoo ARGUS AIR POD kit is only 25 watts. The second cartridge POD, already with built-in vaporizer resistance 0,8 ohm, so if the vaporizer in it fails, you will have to change the entire cartridge.
Both cartridges are refilled by the same principle on the side surface there is a small hole closed with a silicone cap, you can open it and pour 3.8 ml of liquid.
The manufacturer provides an opportunity to set the MTL or RDL draw. To do this you need to take the cartridge out of the battery pack, turn it 180 degrees and put it back.
