Review of Cigpet Capo Kit

Review of Cigpet Capo Kit

Posted on 25 August 202315 April 2025

Cigpet hasn’t released a new device in almost 2 years and today I’m happy to introduce their newest product called the Capo Kit. And no, this is not a squonk from IJoy. Despite the fact that the fate of these two companies have been tightly intertwined for a long time now, it’s not entirely clear to me why it was decided to take this particular name.

Cigpet Capo Kit set of a box mod and a replacement atomizer. If I’m not mistaken, up to this point no one has ever offered a kit that includes an interchangeable atomizer, so Cigpet decided to take this step first.

The package is minimal, as the atomizer does not need any extras. It includes:

Capo mod

Cigpet Mesh Tank

Usb cable

User’s Manual

Warranty card from the manufacturer

Design

The shape factor of the boxmod is brick-like, and the edges are beveled, so at least some comfort when using the boxmod is provided for you. All controls are located on the front edge of the boxmod and are arranged in the usual order: fire button, display, rocker and usb connector for charging and updating. On one of the side edges there is a textured engraving of the company logo, on the opposite one there is a textured engraving of the kit name.

There is not much to say about the design of the tank, it is identical to all previously presented disposable tanks of other manufacturers. It looks transparent, boring and tasteless. The only design extravagance is the engraving with the name of the company.

The kits are available in quite a lot of colors and, most importantly, the tank has the same color scheme as the boxmod.

Technical part

Capo mod

Dimensions: 90 x 52.5 x 25mm (mod only)

Body material: plastic and metal

Power supply: 2 x 18650

Power output: 1″ mdash; 126W

Voltage range: 0.0 7.5V

Peak amperage: 45A

Operating Mode: POWER

Supported resistance: 0.05 “mdash; 3.0 “Omega;

Protection: low/high resistance, overheating, short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharging/overdischarging

Connector: 510 steel, gold-plated, spring-loaded pin

Screen/diagonal: 0.91 “rdquo;

Micro-USB port/charging: yes, charging current unknown

The size of the box mod is quite ordinary, so it should fit in any hand. It is powered by two 18650 batteries, the compartment for which is located under the magnetized cover. The Univ board is quite simple, as it works only in power mode, and the maximum power is limited to 126W. But despite the simplicity of the board, the minimum supported resistance of the atomizer is 0.05 ohm. Well, what did you want for such money? The fit diameter of the connector pad is limited to 28mm if you don’t want the edges of the atomizer to protrude beyond the edges of the box mod.

Cigpet Mesh Tank

Body material: stainless steel

Atomizer type: maintenance free

Vaporizers: 0.15″ Omega;

Capacity: 2 / 3ml

Diameter: 24mm

Height: 45mm with drip tip

Connector: 510, gold plated pin

Weight: unknown

Despite the poor design of the maintenance-free tank, I still managed to make a couple of sentences about its technical component. The most interesting lies, of course, in its vaporizer, which is made on a grid and has a resistance of 0.15 ohm. So you shouldn’t worry much about the flavor transfer.

The tank is filled through the hole, located under the silicone plug in the upper part of the atomizer. It is quite small in size, but in general does not cause any problems when using it. The blowing is lower, not adjustable.

Conclusions

If it were not for the price of this kit, I could not even imagine who would want to buy a boxmod for 2 batteries with such a reduced price. But based on the price tag, this kit is pretty good, but in my opinion, selling a boxmod with disposable atomizers is not a good idea. This kit looks more like an imposition of the idea of using disposable atomizers than a full-fledged kit.

Pros and cons

Pros:

Price

Very nice design of the boxmod and the number of color options

Not bad specifications of the boxmod, if you take into account its price category

Grid vaporizer

Cons:

Personally, I don’t like the idea of “imposing” interchangeable atomizers in kit kits.

Not adjustable atomizer blowing

Small volume of atomizer
