Review of Vaporesso Target Mini

Review of Vaporesso Target Mini

Posted on 22 November 202415 April 2025

This review is dedicated to the already not new Target Mini Kit from Vaporesso, which nevertheless remains a relevant choice for fans of stealth vaping to this day.

Among the vaping devices, there are not many examples that have not lost their relevance over the years. I am not talking about the time-worn and living out their days in the hands of numerous owners of drags, ijusts and fuchai, we are talking about kits that are still sold today, which still adorn the pages of online stores and the shelves of vape shops. Yes, most of them have lost their appeal, some due to outdated filling, others due to a frankly terrible appearance. Although the “vape” sample under review today also belongs to the category of “unbelievable antiquity”, it can still please its owner with both its appearance and its filling. canadian vape shop mississauga The most interesting thing is that the first Vaporesso device that got on the pages of our site was the “older brother” of the Target Mini Mod – Target 75VTC. It was quite an interesting device and back then, its weakest point was the paint, they say that the boards in it burned, but I myself actively used it for quite a long time, and after me the “pistol” changed more than one owner. The culprit of our today’s review was released just six months (in 2016) after the previous one and became somewhat significant for both the manufacturer and the market, since it was sharpened for the TPD law that had come out by that time, which subsequently left an indelible mark on all modern vaping. Today we will try to figure out what in the Vaporesso Target Mini Kit remains relevant to this day, and what has long been time to send to the dustbin of history. The kit is sold in a compact but weighty box made of white cardboard, by that time Vaporesso had already started to depict on the cover the device of the color that is inside. In my case, it is a blue, or rather a sky-blue setup, it even matches the color of some inscriptions. The entire package is strewn with all sorts of advertising “lures”, of which we are most interested in the characteristics and list of the kit, scattered on different sides of the package.

The box with the contents, opening into two halves, is removed using a small fabric loop. On the left side in a separate box are various accessories and instructions, on the right under the hinged lid is the kit itself and a replaceable drip tip.

Impressions and conclusions

If we talk about the tank, it turned out to be a very good device, well assembled, painted almost in tone with the mod, without backlash, giving both a good amount of steam and allowing you to get a tight cigarette drag. The most controversial thing about it is the presence of Childproof, it is very inconvenient to fill the tank, but … Here you need to choose what is more important for you, the convenience of filling or peace of mind, especially if you are the parent of an unreasonable child, whose little hands can get to your setup and unscrew it. The second point is related to the weak distribution of evaporators, which can be found, perhaps, only on foreign sites, they are not compatible with anything else (as far as I understand). In general, the Guardian Tank is primarily interesting as an example of the development of vaping at the time when laws and restrictions were first imposed on it, today the child protection function is implemented in more elegant ways: either in the form of cleverly blocked sliders, or a lock system. Although the tank itself is not bad, I used it with pleasure all the time that I tested the Target Mini, but today I would not recommend buying it.

Regarding the Target Mini mod, I can say that the most obvious thing in it that gives away an alien from the past is a noticeable delay when pressing Fire. The activation occurs, although not with an unknown delay, but still these half a second are felt, I can’t say that it is annoying, but they are there. Otherwise, both the appearance and functionality are not much inferior to what can be found in mods today, the device looks stylish and nice (compare with the square mods of that time, which were “in trend”) and in many ways bypasses modern pods, not all of which even have power control, not to mention temperature control. Of course, if you use them. But in terms of dimensions, the Target Mini is quite comparable to some of them: the same volume, it also easily hides in the palm of your hand and fits in your pocket, but it has a capacious battery and a normal 510 connector, which allows you to screw any clearomizer or even a serviced tank here. And any RTA is still much more profitable than a non-serviced one, a coil of wire and a pack of cotton cost as much as a pack of evaporators, and straight hands and a little experience save you from unnecessary expenses.

In general, the old man can still give odds to many new products, even with replaceable batteries for 18350.
