A short excursion into vape etiquette. Part 1

Let’s not deny that vaping, like smoking cigarettes, is a sticking point for different opinions. Some support this trend, some don’t care, and some are against it and don’t want vapers anywhere near them. Below are some tips to help avoid conflicts and not tarnish the name of vapers.

The vape culture is growing by leaps and bounds. More and more people are switching to electronic cigarettes or preferring them to regular ones. Smoking an e-cigarette is becoming the norm. But, nevertheless, there remains a fairly large number of the population who are not familiar with vaping, people who may not have even heard of electronic cigarettes. Just don’t forget that you are not alone in society, and we will give you a couple of tips that will help you avoid conflicts.

1. Research your local regulations and laws regarding e-cigarettes.

If you travel frequently, check your local laws. There are a large number of cities in which vaping, along with smoking tobacco, is prohibited. While in a cafe or other public institution, try to find out from the administration the rules for using electronic cigarettes. Please remember that violating these rules and laws may result in administrative fines being imposed on you.

2. Monitor the airspace

Scientific fact: Vaping and smoking produce two different products: smoke and vapor. But in appearance everything is very similar. Therefore, many, without even considering the difference, are initially purely against vaping. Ask people around you if they are okay with you smoking an e-cigarette.

3. Don’t let off huge clouds of steam.

It’s no secret that vapers love to release large, dense clouds of vapor. In public places, walking through the steam released by other people may not be pleasant for everyone. It is better to enjoy the volumes at cloudchasing competitions, while on private property, in e-cigarette stores or in hobby clubs.
