Review of Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit

Posted on 12 May 202315 April 2025

Vapers who decide to buy a new device, entering vape shops are somewhat surprised by the fact that there are less and less traditional box mods, drips and tanks on the showcases, but POD-systems and sub-mods are represented quite a lot. And this situation is quite simple to explain after the emergence of salt nicotine and liquids based on it, more and more vapers began to prefer compact and self-contained devices with which you can quickly quench the nicotine hunger. Rincoe company decided to re-profile its production and started to produce a lot of POD-systems, the most popular among them being Jellybox. Recently the company presented a series of new devices, one of which was the Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit combining compactness, autonomy and simplicity.

General Info

The Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit is a compact POD system that has a pretty powerful for its size battery for the installation of interchangeable vaporizers from the Jellybox Nano series and designed for vaping liquids based on salt nicotine. The device has a miniature size, which is quite logical for a device of this format. Its design is original enough, the body is translucent, and on its side surface there are bright fantasy drawings. The POD system is very easy to use and maintain, and at the same time it has a decent autonomy. The device is designed to fit Jellybox Nano vaporizers on the grid, so good flavor is guaranteed. You can buy Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit in five colors – Full Clear, Black Clear, Blue Clear, Amber Clear, Matcha Clear.

Kit

Given the fact that this device belongs to a fairly simple series, it is packed appropriately simple and banal. In the box the vaper will find:

Jellybox Z Device battery pack;

Jellybox Z Cartridge;

Mesh0ohm coil vaporizer (pre-installed);

USB Type-C cable;

Warranty card;

Warranty card;

User Manual.

Jellybox Z Device Battery Pack

It is unlikely anyone from vapers will argue about the fact that the Chinese company Rincoe is one of the market leaders, although from time to time she releases devices that become sales hits (just remember the Manto sub-mod). But in this case the company constantly monitors the development of the vape market, so developers are trying to keep up with the times, releasing more and more new POD-systems. Not so long ago the company presented the new addition to the already popular Jellybox lineup by releasing four new devices, one of which is the Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit.

We can’t say that Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit is notable for its original form-factor – it is a small flattened device with a flat drip-tip. It is really small, as its dimensions are 73*39*15.5 mm and weight is 41 grams. The designers of the company decided to continue the series of translucent devices, so the body is made of plastic, which makes its insides partially visible. Naturally, there is an original print on the side surface, which makes the device look original and somewhat unusual.

The Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit is powered by a built-in battery with a capacity of 850 mAh, which for such a compact device is a very good indicator. The battery is charged using the USB Type-C connector located on the side of the device with 0.6A current.

Like most PODs, this device is characterized by maximum ease of use, so it is logical that it is activated by puffing. The working power of the device is 10-15 Watts, and it automatically sets the optimal power depending on what resistance will be the installed vaporizer.

Jellybox Z Cartridge

The developers of the company did not unify the cartridges (like Vaporesso did), so the device uses its own version of Jellybox Z Cartridge, with a flattened drip-type and held in the battery pack by magnets.

The positive thing is that the Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit uses interchangeable vaporizers from the Jellybox Nano series. At the moment vaper has only one vaporizer 1.0 ohm available, but it is on the grid, so the flavor transfer will be at a proper level. Blow control is not provided, but the default draw is tight, as close to a cigarette.

The cartridge is easy to refill: you take it out of the battery box, open the silicone cap on the side and fill it with 2 ml of liquid.

Conclusions and impressions

Vapers who are used to using multifunctional devices with a lot of settings and options are unlikely to be delighted by the Rincoe Jellybox Z POD kit. But those who are looking for the simplest, most reliable and autonomous device for vaping liquids on salt nicotine will definitely appreciate the work of the company’s engineers.
